Come spend some time in the woods

Carefully planned afternoons for small, intimate groups to enjoy the creative delights and the senses that Christmas invokes. Using entirely foraged materials, come and spend the afternoon with us gathering twigs, leaves and berries and crafting them into something you will be proud to hang on your front door this festive season.

During the afternoon:

• We will be foraging for materials, we wont have to go far but on a little wander around our own property, the woods and surrounding countryside we will be looking for not only holly and ivy, but other greenery, berries, seed pods and beautiful things to adorn our wreaths.

• We will be harvesting some our willow to make the bases, and learning how to make our own string to tie up our bundles and take the knowledge home to make string for parcel wrapping.

• We will put together delightful bundles of natures gifts with guidance or in your own way, there is no need to be creative or artistic or even good with making things, nature has a way of allowing us to go with the flow and beautiful things we will create!

• We will reward ourselves with mulled wine and apple juice and cinnamon baked treats around a smoking campfire to finish off the day refreshed from the earthiness of the woods and the smells and feels of being immersed in nature.

• Take home your creation and hang it proudly. 

•  Cost: £40 per person includes all materials and refreshments.
